Mellow > The sites at Guadalupe Mtns National Park are nice but small, only one tent will fit on each site.
Mellow > I thought I could climb the hill in the background as I thought this was the 'Guadalupe Peak'... I did climb this hill and the other two that are hidden by it but never quite made it to the top of the peak 4.2 miles away. I SHALL RETURN and the next time I'll conquer this hike.

Mellow > This is part of the trail to the Guadalupe Peak - Tallest Peak in Texas - This was an 8.4 mile round trip hike and I only made it about 3 miles up. I turned around and headed back at the backpacking campground.
